How it works
This builds a standard invoice — your business name, the client, line items with quantity and price, and a total — and renders it as a downloadable PDF entirely in your browser, using a JavaScript PDF library rather than a server. Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere, which also means there's nowhere for it to be stored or looked up later; download it and keep the file yourself.
It's built for the occasional one-off invoice, not as a replacement for dedicated invoicing software — there's no saved client list, no recurring billing, and no payment tracking. For a single job or a new client, that simplicity is usually the point.
A worked example: three line items, 1 logo design at $450.00, 2 pages of copy at $120.00 and 3 revision rounds at $35.00, make a subtotal of $795.00. Tax at a hypothetical 8% adds $63.60, so the total is $858.60. The generator does this arithmetic for you, but it is worth checking one line by hand the first time.
Before you send the PDF, give it a number you have not used before, put a real due date on it rather than only a phrase such as Net 30, and name the file after the invoice number so you can find it later.

No — the PDF is generated entirely in your browser using client-side code. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere; the file is created and downloaded locally.
Q.Can I add my logo or save this as a template?
Not yet in this version — it's intentionally a quick, no-frills invoice for one-off use. For recurring invoicing with saved templates and client records, dedicated invoicing software is a better fit.
